Clearly WOTC "knows better" than a majority of the player base and was ready to push these changes down our throats no matter how much feedback was given. Not that ANY of it was listened too. Rules are STILL in flux, and more changes are expected yet we are already supposed to be administering with them.

The entire process feels like you cut off an arm to stop a bad paper cut on your finger, when really a bandaid would have been fine.

Had lots of fun with this one, with multiple people swallowed in sand as the eye beams went off. Was hoping to turn a player to dust.. Sadly not this time.

A great module to complete a meh triology for tier 1. The opening encounter can quite easily become deadly with poor planning or rolls, as my players all broke their buttons after choosing to press them all at once initially but led to a great narrative as they fled for the "safety" of the stairs going underground. The 2nd combat encounter is quite fun although DMs will have to vary the use of the legendary actions based on the party.

As others have mentioned the parts 2 and 3 of the trilogy have some issues with Wadumu and how he is portrayed but over all the players and myself enjoyed this thoroughly today.

This is the first AL module I have heavily disliked DM'ing and would never run again.

Act 1- Doesnt really deal with why Screaming Wind now has the satchel and is reaching out to the characters vs Wren. Nor does the bridge encounter do anything to add to the story line. My players had the satchel tucked away there was no chance of that going missing, the odd random item "fished" from the characters were laughed off to kids being dumb. They enjoyed buying satchels more then anything found in the rest of the act.

Act 2 - Possibly shortest Act ive seen. Mud.. then done.

Act 3 - A very weak and uninteresting fight.

Not the bridge I was hoping for in the first trilogy of modules released for this season.

While the idea of the race is interesting, the mechanics feel clunky and could have done with more detail similar to the last part of the race. I had to also just handwave as to why the little girl was in the pen to begin with holding a magical staff.

Would probably still run it again as all players so far seem to enjoy taking part of races of any kind.

One of the tougher 2 hr mods I've run so far even for APL 3. The final boss battle is a fun one, but can easily go against the players if they dont spread out before a fireball.

Myself and my players really enjoyed this module and was a perfect end to the Tier 1 Season 5 story line. As many others have said depending on the # of players in the party and average party level really makes a difference once the siege starts. My group was close to TPK multiple times due to some bad rolls on their part, and really good on mine.
