Richly atmospheric and dramatic old school style adventure with beautiful isometric map. I ended up hacking together a 5e conversion just because I wanted to use the maps and the richly imagined world in which the adventure is set. Roan Studio has a really distinctive style that I love -- one of my favourite producers of stuff linked to the Bay of Spirits setting. The more you use the setting or elements, the more that you can get out of each of the publications. Not only do you have typical stuff like deities, factions, and richly imagined NPCs, you also get plants, small animals, locally-produced spirits... It's just a breathing, buzzing world imagined down to charming details.

Most adventures give only the necessary information to run the adventure (fine), while others which provide a story for the setting or events read like a whitepaper. Jaunt: Blood in the Snow is different in the best of ways; it reads like a novel. With a rich history and real reasons for this small mountain town to exist and prosper, including it's conflicts and enough pieces to allow a GM to build with it, it's a beautiful place to be.

I've simply adapted the NPCs to Open Legend RPG and am excited to run the adventure.

Great scenario, beautiful images, a nice mix of social interactions and combat. Definitely recommend it.

A nice, well thought out village mod that could be a starting adventure or dropped into almost any campaign world. There's a broad layout of follow up ideas and background to the area, ie: the druidic order, the merchant who will deal in stolen goods but not in the towns trademark wine.

I'm looking forward to using it, though I'm already adding characteristics and more intrigue to the townsfolk and customizing to the 5e game (including Volo's guide) to match my players styles of play.

Jaunt is a beautifully rendered little module at a price that can't be beat.

All of the is great, but I personally feel that the layout leaves a little to be desired. It greatly emulates a traditional, old school style, it's just not a style I'm very fond of.

Overall, I can't recommend Jaunt: Blood in the Snow more.
