Loved this handler's screen. Font was easy to read, the rules sections appropriate. The only thing I wish it had 1 alternative cover since I play Delta Green (slightly toned down) and 1 illustration is anatomical view, just bit much for my family. Excellent product for an excellent game!

Until I get the actual sliders, Ill leave it at 1 star, how did I get a diffrent game when I wanted this one? More in discussion...

REEDIT: They guys over at DrivethruRPG corrected my order! I am happy to say that these slick as hell and will be using these as a guide!

I got the premium cardstock inserts. They came packed safely inside the vinyl universal GM screen I also got from DriveThru, and the artwork and printing is excellent. I guess there isn't much to say other than this is a premium handler screen experience? And worth the price for sure if you have a screen to slot them into. I hope DriveThruRPG can get more of these for other games.

Never mind the game, it's nice to have someplace to squirrel away your notes and roll dice where players cannot see them... and if it has something useful to contribute that's even better!

This one has four panels. The side for the Handler has various useful tables, presented in a somewhat jumbled way reminiscent of a hastily-assembled pin-board - it's worth becoming familiar with where everything is before you need to refer to it in the heat of play.

The tables include a range of ones for using skills, including some useful advice - "Don't roll dice if things are calm and under control, do roll dice if it's a crisis and things are out of control" - as well as loads of ideas for modifiers to use depending on the situation and how hard the thing being accomplished happens to be. There are also combat actions and combat modifiers, a whole selection of other ways to do damage to the party, and finally one panel on SAN and the lack thereof... all the game mechanics you're going to need neatly tabulated.

The player side is a collage of rather blurry artwork, the best bit of which is an image of someone practising on the shooting range. Either a distraction as you try to figure out what the rest is, or something you'll get tired of looking at really quickly.

You also get a copy of the quickstart module Need to Know, which can be obtained for free as a PDF download, so this seems quite highly priced for the downloadable version. Best go for the hard copy version so you don't have to print the thing out and get a paperback copy of Need to Know into the bargain.

This is a very professional piece of work. Apart from one minor typo, the quality is excellent, the illustrations gorgeous and the layout very easy to read. The scenario traditionally joined to the screen is good for beginners, relatively forgiving, although it might need a bit of tweeking for complete newbies. The starting rules are simple yet complete enough for any game master to start even a small campaign. All in all a very good buy, highly recommended.

The screen is gorgeous and useful it its layout. I haven't yet come across any times I have wanted a table, or a reminder, and it hasn't been there.

The Need to Know adventure and rules summary is short and to the point, and serves as a good intorduction to the DG rules. The adventure is a quite linear and focussed, but ideal for a one or two hour introduction.

A great product.
