I like the convenience of the cards; however, with only 4 to a sheet of cardstock and no means to enlarge or place more on a sheet leaves much to be desired. Yes, only 4 to a sheet and there is a lot of white space around the print area. The area that is printed is the size of a standard playing card. I would give these a C+

I wish it were easy to do more per page. Each side of each card is actually 3.75x2.75--the extra is a .125 bleed (extra art area) on each card edge. If front/back don\'t exactly line up, bleed minimizes white-space along an edge when cut. Because of the bleed and many printers margins, the only way to fit more than 4 cards per page is to print each landscape. However, landscape two-sided printing is confusing/error prone because the paper and cards aren\'t the same direction. Is 4 cards/page the main reason to knock the product down 2 stars?

I backed this series of cards during Inkwell Ideas' kickstarter and I have to say that I am very glad that I did. The stat blocks are well laid out and the illustrations are well done. Some of the cards do have smaller fonts than others but that is what is required for the more complex creatures but the small font size is hardly a detractor since the alternative would be spreading the creature's info over multiple card which defeats the purpose of having information on cards in the first place.

In addition, I like the fact that I no longer have to hold up my Monster Manual and show my players what they've encountered while simultaneously trying to cover a stat block and any text that reveals the creature's name. Now I just hold up the appropriate card and they can see the creature without any spoilers.

I opted to go with deck boxes for each set of cards when I ordered the prints and having done so I was expecting them to arrive in a cards took pack like with playing cards so I was very impressed to see that the boxes were actually transparent plastic. This bonus is well worth the extra dollar or so at checkout.

I recommend this series of creature decks to any DM or GM that is looking for aneasy way to visually represent an encounter without the spoilers of showing the creature's entry page in the Monster Manual.

The 5E creature cards + the basic rules make for a very portable game. A handfull of monsters, some dice, a fighter, thief, and cleric scrawled on some beat up notebook paper - and now I can recreate all those great memories of playing D&D in the back seat of the bus.

Very nicely done, makes it easier to flip card to show players what they see. The print is small, so if you a old blind geezer (like myself), keep reading glasses (or use an app that zooms in with your cellphone camera).
