Infinite Gems & Jewelry
by Marie B. [Verified Purchaser] Date Added: 08/27/2017 00:45:38

If you're tired of saying "You found a silver ring" then this will spice up your game nicely. I highly recommend taking the time to roll a bunch of these and put them on index cards so you can hand them out as needed.

I like adding magical qualities as I feel they deserve them since it makes nicely unusual items the min-max players have never really seen. Plus it adds a lot of flavor to the game.

The one issue I have is with the metals chart. There's 6 kinds of gold that are kind of repetitive so I've modified those to be different metals. I've also had to add descriptions of the gem cuts and play with the symbols to be more to my liking. But these are personal tweaks. The charts are perfectly usable as-is and can be modified to your particular style.

Another great product to help us poor GMs who have sandbox games where so much is off-the-cuff.

Infinite Trinkets
by Marie B. [Verified Purchaser] Date Added: 08/27/2017 00:40:09

I enjoy handing out things that aren't in the system books. It adds something and this lets me make unique and unusal items.

I'll spend time rolling up a bunch of these and writing them on index cards (I put the the roll in the upper right corner so I can go back and reference it if needed) then I can hand them out as-is or attach some magic property to it as desired.

They can take some time to roll since some items require additional rolls to complete the description. But that just ads to the randomness.

I've altered the symbols chart for my game settings and made more suitable items but as-is you can make great stuff.

I highly recommend this for anyone running sandbox games.

Creature Decks 5e SRD (Almost) Text Only Creature Cards
by Ben S. [Verified Purchaser] Date Added: 01/29/2017 06:32:15

This is a great resource for 5e creatures. It gives all the important stats on a single sheet to either print out or search in the pdf. It has nearly 300 creatures listed so chances are if you're looking for an SRD monster it's in there.

Cityographer Post Apocalyptic City Map Icons (Any Editor)

A spectacular product for making maps. There are enough objects to create some small areas of your own as well as a plethora of different buildings that make it a breeze to produce settlement or regional cartography at a commercial quality. A+!

Creature Decks 5e SRD (Almost) Text Only Creature Cards
by Max B. [Verified Purchaser] Date Added: 11/26/2016 09:58:14

Very useful for running a game with limited table space. The cards are well laid-out in a familiar way making it easy to find the stats you need. I had no trouble reading the cards but if you have eyesight issues a few of the cards with smaller fonts might be difficult for you. There is no card back included but I prefer blank backs anyway to write hp and initiative on. Again, very useful for small-sized tables. These have made running combat much less frantic for me as I no longer have to shuffle through stacks of pages to find the stat blocks I need. Great product.

Monster Stand-Ins Virtual Table Top Tokens v1
by Michael D. [Verified Purchaser] Date Added: 11/10/2016 07:20:36

Nice selection at a good price , personally I prefer top down style but lots online gamers don't. The art work is good though the 100 pixel images do lose a bit of quality

5e Creature Decks: More Constructs, Giants, Humanoids, & Undead
by Randall B. [Verified Purchaser] Date Added: 09/30/2016 12:31:46

I like the convenience of the cards; however, with only 4 to a sheet of cardstock and no means to enlarge or place more on a sheet leaves much to be desired. Yes, only 4 to a sheet and there is a lot of white space around the print area. The area that is printed is the size of a standard playing card. I would give these a C+ Randy Black The Blue Wiz

I wish it were easy to do more per page. Each side of each card is actually 3.75x2.75--the extra is a .125 bleed (extra art area) on each card edge. If front/back don\'t exactly line up, bleed minimizes white-space along an edge when cut. Because of the bleed and many printers margins, the only way to fit more than 4 cards per page is to print each landscape. However, landscape two-sided printing is confusing/error prone because the paper and cards aren\'t the same direction. Is 4 cards/page the main reason to knock the product down 2 stars?

I very much wanted to put 6 on a page, but couldn't. Each side of each card is actually 3.75"x2.75"--the extra .25" is a .125" bleed (extra art area) all around the card. If front/back don't exactly line up, bleed allows the cards when cut to be much less likely to have white-space along an edge. Because of the size and many printer's margins, the only way to fit more than 4 cards per page is to print each card landscape. However, landscape two-sided printing is even more confusing because the paper and cards aren't the same direction. Is 4 cards/page the main reason to knock the product down 2 stars? The stats looked correct? The art was good? (The beasts deck has over 50% b&w art, but it also has the most cards by far.)

I backed this series of cards during Inkwell Ideas' kickstarter and I have to say that I am very glad that I did. The stat blocks are well laid out and the illustrations are well done. Some of the cards do have smaller fonts than others but that is what is required for the more complex creatures but the small font size is hardly a detractor since the alternative would be spreading the creature's info over multiple card which defeats the purpose of having information on cards in the first place.

In addition, I like the fact that I no longer have to hold up my Monster Manual and show my players what they've encountered while simultaneously trying to cover a stat block and any text that reveals the creature's name. Now I just hold up the appropriate card and they can see the creature without any spoilers.

I opted to go with deck boxes for each set of cards when I ordered the prints and having done so I was expecting them to arrive in a cards took pack like with playing cards so I was very impressed to see that the boxes were actually transparent plastic. This bonus is well worth the extra dollar or so at checkout.

I recommend this series of creature decks to any DM or GM that is looking for aneasy way to visually represent an encounter without the spoilers of showing the creature's entry page in the Monster Manual.
