I'm a little confused about how these are printed. Do people print them at a print shop on nice stock? Or do they work with normal paper?

If you have an inkjet printer at home, you can print them on 8.5 x 11 card stock!

If I want them to really 'POP' I use Epson's 44# Matte* Premium Presentation paper. It still makes a very sturdy figure.
*(Gloss just doesn't seem to work very well.)

I do not quite understand your question there, Daniel, but for instance, the Black Dragon (bottom row, far left) is about 3 1/2 inches (85cm) long from nose to tail. The base it is on is 2 inches in diameter (5cm).

The dragons are scaled to represent a "Large" (2"X2") based creature.

These are utterly cool!!!
I love your artwork! But all I see are bad guys, where are the heroes? And how about civilians/females, we need to populate villages and have girl heroes/bad guys, too.

I look forward to seeing more of your work,

Thanks,
Steve

Thank you for the kind words and suggestions. I always love to hear what gamers would like to see on their tabletop. Never be shy to suggest models you think would be useful.
Having gaps in my inventory is not out of lack of interest, just, time constraints. I choose to focus more on monsters right now because they have a lot of applications to a lot of tabletop RPGs and wargames. I would definitely like to include a villager pack in my inventory in the future.
I recently released a 6-pack of heroes, with a couple of female figures in it. I intend to release more hero packs, and you'd better believe they'll contain female characters of all different races.
Thanks again!

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
