The Master

Great warrior? What warrior? Can't you see I'm just an old man having a drink? Go bother someone else!

The Master allows you to play as a truly peerless fighter, who knows the value of their power, and does not display it lightly! With the kind of skill you have, comes a responsibility for keeping it away from sight, either by using it only against only the worthiest of enemies, or by hiding it behind a mask of a harmless senior citiszen.

You are the master/wise mentor character from many a movie, book, and anime. You might look harmless, and you might be acting like a drunkard or a fool, but you have mastered all the paths of kung-fu, or have become one with the sword, or have learned the inner truth, or your ally the force is! Whatever your power, the young punks trying to mess with you probably won't see even a glimpse of it... well, the really good ones among them might see just one.

A Master does not have much left to actually learn, so the advanced moves in the playbook actually reflect you revealing the extent of your power to your companions, as your trust for them grows - or as the dangers you face together force you to! When you fight at full strength for the first time, when you cut through a whole crowd of enemies, when you reveal your drunken fist stance... and when you use the Forbidden Technique of Ultimate Power to really go to town on someone. You had those abilities all along, of course, but you didn't need them, until just now
