The Adventure Notes Bundle now includes both the metric and US versions in one bundle!

Now with a new PocketMod version of the original Adventure Notes!

What is Adventure Notes?

Based on the old engineer's computation pads, Adventure Notes worksheets are designed to keep all of your notes organized. Each sheet is meant to keep all of the important names and terms from a single session of gaming.

The original Adventure Notes sheet is designed for players. It features a general notes section, a division for important NPCs and terms, and open graphed areas for mapping and drawing out symbols and patterns

Adventure Notes 2.0 is meant for Game Masters. It features a similar layout to the original version, but features areas for locations and items and a special section for themes and ideas the GM wants to flesh out and return to in a later session.

The bundle includes

  • Full sheet versions in both 8.5" x 11" and A4 sizes
  • Planner sized versions in 5.5" x 8.5" and A5 sizes
  • A new PocketMod version of the original sheet in 8.5" x 11" sheets and A4 sheets for gaming on the go!

Each PDF includes two versions of each design - a process blue ink page that mimics traditional computation pads and a second page in register black. In non-technical terms, there's a blue version for printing on a digital press or color printer and a black and white version for home printers.

Purchasing this product includes the right to print as many copies as you like for your own personal use.

The obvious question about this is simple: why get this when there's a ton of free graph paper online? Or even just a sheet ripped out of a spiral bound notebook? The answer is equally simple: for a few shekels you get a pdf that is formatted a notch [...]

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
